I'm Gene Duncan, a Full Stack Developer

I am a graduate of the Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am a MERN stack developer looking to enter the Web Development, Software Development, or QA Engineering fields. My ideal job would involve remote work, as I have over one year of experience working within a remote team, though I am open to working in a traditional office setting depending upon the location. In the meantime, I am focused heavily on personal and professional growth through the means of personal projects and professional learning courses in an effort to sharpen and improve my skills as a developer.

Previous formal education entails an Associate's Degree in Accounting. I have several years of business experience in a combined E-commerce and Manufacturing Environment, as well as one year of experience in Technical Support within a startup environment. I plan to use the combination of the knowledge above to identify real issues that I can solve with a variety of new applications in the future.
